You can enjoy a half or full day in the Yahuarcaca lakes and enjoy the friendliness of the indigenous Tikuna community «La Playa». You can explore this bird’s paradise and one of the richest aquatic ecosystems in the Amazon River by boat. Get to know the culture, the flora, the fauna and all its incredible natural beauty. Located in the northwest of Leticia just 2 km away, is this set of lakes that in the past were an original part of the Amazon River. Habitat of several species of birds, monkeys, sloths, dolphins and reptiles. You have a stop at the Flor de Loto reserve, where you can see the Victoria Regia, unique leaves due to their enormous circular shape. At sunset you can swim in the fresh and delicious waters of the Yahuarcaca lakes after enjoying a good lunch typical of the region.
